What were you inspirations or thought processes behind this series?
For this photo shoot I was inspired by the season. Autumn has that chromatic game that I really like. In addition to this chromatic game, I was also inspired by the people who live at the country.
When do you first remember getting involved in photography? was it something you have always been passionate about?
I started taking photos out of love for beauty. And this is one of the things that fascinates me in this domain. In this way, the people can see the world through my eyes.
How do you keep your self motivated with your photography?
As I said above ... I am very motivated by the fact that I can express myself through my own work.
We feel that some creatives have really struggled over the last few months, due to the world’s circumstances, where as others have thrived, what’s your views on that? Do you feel like it has helped or hindered you?
The period I stayed at home was like a creative camp. I wrote down a lot of ideas and composed a lot of projects that I can’t wait to show to the people. I think I am used to see the good side of things and I only reap what is positive from any situation.
What would you say is your favourite thing about photography?
I really like working with people. I like to help them to transpose into the characters I thought about it for them.
Do you think its changed you in anyway?
I have changed over time and I will definitely change. I follow fashion trends and I am often inspired by them
Do you have any favourite pieces of equipment you couldn’t live without?
I love Nikon cameras. I can work with any camera, but I really like working with Nikon
If you had unlimited money and resources to create whatever shoot set up you wanted, who and what would you photograph?
I would love to work with Lady Gaga and probably I would choose an avant-garde concept and I would definitely dressed her in the McQueen’s creations.
Your images are without a doubt, incredible. What is the impression you want viewers to get from your work?
I want to make them feel something. I want to arouse an emotion or a memory and why not, to inspire them.
Do you have any favourite images of your own?
Every time I take a photo shoot I have a favorite photo and I often say “this is my best picture”. I’m glad that it happens at every photo shoot because that’s a proof that I’m evolving.
Is there another photographer who has influenced or inspired you through you creative journey?
I’ve always wanted to create my own style. That’s why I don’t have a favorite photographer. I am often inspired by the history of fashion and the history of fashion photography, reinterpreting in a more current way those concepts.
What do you think is your biggest accomplishment to date?
Every project is important in its own way ... unfortunately I can’t choose just one.
Is there any thing key in the future your aiming for?
I want to work with important people from the world fashion industry.
We have spoken before about your works for the modelling agency rmmmodels, could you tell us a little bit more about that? How did is start, what was your inspiration behind starting the agency?
I always wanted to have my own modeling agency, but I was afraid to start this project alone. I found my partner Monica Rusu and from her passion and love for this domain, our agency was born.
Lastly do you have any tips for photographers/creatives at the start of their journey?
Everything around us is inspiration! Have the courage to accept the word “different” and do anything in your style!
We want to Thank you for featuring within INTRA, where could viewers find more information about you and connect with your work?
I thank you as well! It is an honor for me to appear in your publication! You can find me on instagram @mihaistefann where I post at least one photo every day.
